Gute Idee: Walk Score
Die Seite zeigt an, inwieweit man einen bestimmten Ort zu Fuß erreichen kann. Eine Leistung, die bei steigenden Energiepreisen nicht zu unterschätzen ist. Nachahmenswert.. Walk score uses a patent-pending system to measure the walkability of an address. The Walk score algorithm awards points based on the distance to the closest amenity in each category. If the closest amenity in a category is within .25 miles (or .4 km), we assign the maximum number of points. The number of points declines as the distance approaches 1 mile (or 1.6 km)—no points are awarded for amenities further than 1 mile. Each category is weighted equally and the points are summed and normalized to yield a score from 0–100. The number of nearby amenities is the leading predictor of whether people walk.1   Tags:laufen, walkscore

How To Increase Credit score Fast
Today each and every one have to maintain good credit history other wire there is a chances of lots of problem occurs, like loan rejecting, apartment renting rejection like that many more problem may occur because of this single reason :Bad Credit History”.So what we have to do to maintain and improve our credit score to avoid all these problem which may occur in future if we don’t take it seriously. Follow some simple steps to repair your credit history and increase your credit score fast. 1. Check your credit report regularly: This is a must to ensure that you know your [tag-tec]current credit score[tag-tec], and what is ailing it. If there are any inconsistencies in your credit report get them corrected. Keeping bills of all the transactions you make can be very handy and helpful in correcting any errors in your credit report. 2. Repay on time: Every credit card transaction is a loan that has to be repaid on time with interest. Don’t ever miss out on any repayment. If you are not able to make full payments, make half, or even the monthly minimum, but don’t default. This will keep you in the good books of credit card company and help your credit score. If you are not able to pay anything to the credit card company, don’t shy away from them, call them, explain your problem and work out things so that a negative report doesn’t land up with the credit reporting agencies. 3. Get rid of those extra credit cards: The temptations to own a new credit card are so numerous in modern times that many of us end up with a purse-full of them without any real need. They stay there and cause a lot of problems in repayment. The confusion that comes with too many credit cards can easy lead to a missed payment and resulting penalties. Frequent defaults will reflect poorly on your credit score. So, keep only the necessary and discard the rest. 4. Keep your debt to balance ratio low: A low ratio means that you are repaying on time. This factor has carries a lot of weight while determining your credit score. A low debt to balance ratio goes in your favor while it hurts your credit report badly when this ratio is high. The high ratio says that you are not able to manage your finances well, borrow more than you can afford, and the repayment is not up to the mark– in short a good candidate to accumulate a lot of credit card debt. Always, avoid giving this impression to the credit card companies. Paying charged off accounts only marginally improves the score, the deal is to get the entire negative trade line deleted from your credit report. If the cc has been sold to a collections agency even better because they are more likely to agree a pay for delete agreement than the original creditor would.

After getting a lot of questions about Google Quality Scores, I though it would be best to write a post dedicated to this topic. The Google Quality score can make or break your Pay Per Click Campaign. It’s the deciding factor of what you actually pay per click within your Ad Group. So the best way to explain this is to go into detail about how it works. I also wrote about this during my Pay Per Click Management Series but it doesn’t hurt to go over it again! 1st off if you don’t know what your quality score currently is in your Ad Groups here are the steps to find that information: Once in your Google Account, click on an Ad Group and look at your keywords. In the Row above your keywords you will see a row that shows: + Add keywords: Quick add | Keyword tool Edit keywords | Search this list Customize columns Click on Customize columns and it will turn into a drop down box and a option in that box should be Show Quality score … it looks like this: Now that we are all on the same page there are different quality scores you will find (poor, ok, and great) i’m sure you will find all of these scores in your account if you have never looked before! You will ask yourself, why am I getting “poor” quality scores? Here is your answer, the keywords that are showing poor are not relevant enough in the ad group that it’s in because of the ad copy and the landing page that ad group is promoting. Hopefully that made sense to you. Here is a simple example, if the page you are promoting is all about “Cats” and the ad copy you are using says wonderful things about “Cats” to get the searcher to click on your ad and go to your landing page but the keyword that you are getting a poor quality score on is “dog” then BINGO! You have a “dog” keyword in a “cat” ad group. Now you may say to me, well the landing page is selling dog food and cat food, and I’ll say thats great then lets create a new ad group for this keyword and any other keywords that fall into the “dog” category! This all boils down to “organization” in your Pay Per Click account! Most of the time Ad Groups are not organized properly and this happens. Google Quality score is an easy way to let you know something is wrong and a keyword is out of place or your landing page is not optimized for the keyword you are trying to bid on. This alone should help you understand which keywords are working and which are not. I don’t want to drag on too long about Quality score because there are other factors in place that determine that score so I suggest you take some time and read through my Pay Per Click Management Series to get a full understanding of what it takes to set up a Pay Per Click Campaign from scratch to get the Best Bang for your Buck during these hard times! RSS Tutorial Contact Guest Posting RSS Feed The Importance of Having a Good Credit Score: TRW Credit Group With the recent economic woes that seem to have befallen everyone, it is even more important to make sure that you have a good credit score.  When you are using credit, you are essentially borrowing money that you are promising to pay back within a specified amount of time.  Your credit score is a statistical method that is used to determine how likely you are to pay back the money you have borrowed.  Credit scores range from 350 (extremely high risk) to 850 (extremely low risk).  Obviously, the lower your credit score, the more of a risk you are to others when it comes to making purchases and owning things.  For instance, if you went to a car dealership and tried to purchase an automobile with a credit score of 350, you would more than likely be turned away or have to have someone else co-sign on the loan.  The same thing goes for owning a house or any other piece of property. Credit Repair and The TRW Credit Group TRW Credit Group is a company dedicated towards credit repair.  The company has been in business for over 8 years and has a proven track record of helping people clean up their credit histories.  What is credit repair, you might ask? As many people know, there are three major credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian and Transunion.  These companies make a profit by selling your personal information to creditors for credit and insurance offers and sometimes they make mistakes in the accuracy of those reports that are sent out regarding your credit history. Mistakes in your credit history can have devastating effects when you are trying to apply for a job, finance a car or purchase a house.  This is where TRW Credit Group steps in. TRW Credit Group uses state-of-the-art computer technology to verify information from your credit reports.  Their service can remove inaccurate, negative or unverifiable information from your credit reports with all three major credit reporting agencies.  This includes the possibility of removing items such as:  bankruptcies, foreclosures, tax liens, civil liens, student loans, judgments, repossessions, medical bills, late payments, inquiries and more You can check out TRW Credit Group at their website and make your own decision as to whether or not credit repair is something you would be interested in pursuing. HOW TO: Destroy Your Credit Score
Posted on October 11, 2007
There are hundreds of articles out there detailing ways to improve your credit score.  Damaging your credit score is something most people do not have a problem with.  Analyzing the reasons for killing a credit score is important in order to fix the problem.  Here are six ways to kill your credit score: Be a big spender at the wrong time.  Timing can be everything with money.  For example, cashing out your retirement fund to early and risk paying big penalties thus giving up future earnings.  Forget about payments.  Stay organized and on top of what is due and at what time.  This is a credit killer everyone can avoid just by paying the minimum amount each month. Be too thin on open credit.  Part of the credit score is calculated on how much open credit you have.  If you have only one $500 limit credit card and it is maxed out, that is far worse than having two credit cards with $5000 combined limit and a $500 balance.  Ensure you have some credit that is not used. Be too eager.  Let your money grow and mature before making the big indulgences. Closing unused accounts making your balance closer to your limit.  Similar to number three in that it is important to have a portion of credit that is not used.  Consider cutting your card up, but holding off on closing the account. Be too care free.  Not everyone enjoys mulling over finances for hours each day.  But attempt to give your finances at least a portion of time each week to ensure you understand where everything is going and what is coming due. This post will hopefully help you understand FICO 08 - the ‘new and improved’ credit score introduced by Fair Issac and Co. in order to help lenders predict loan defaults. The effectiveness of this new score has been predicted to be 5 to 15% more than its predecessor. FICO 08 takes its roots from the older model in terms of fundamental elements used to evaluate and compare credit scores. These include a consumer’s payment history, amounts owed & percentage of credit being used. These are considered along with the length of credit history, number and type of accounts open and recently opened credit accounts and credit inquiries. The difference arises in the percentage-weight (statistical weight to percent sum) given to each of these constituting factors. FICO 08 analyzes the information with more precision. According to Credit Technologies Inc. “Each scoring model is divided into scorecards, (also referred to as Population Segments.) The current FICO model uses 10 score cards. FICO 08 adds 2 more, now dividing the population into 12 segments (eight for people with good credit and four for people with bad credit.) This could result in a slight change of a consumer’s credit score either up or down “ Other important differences between the two models include Higher weight-age to the mix of credit (credit card, revolving account, installments etc.) a consumer has. This obviously means that consumers who use a high percentage of their available credit will score high. Greater penalties and even lower scores than the original model for consumers with repeated delinquencies. FICO 08 will be even harder on consumers with serious delinquencies over 90 days old. Leniency for occasional slip-ups i.e. consumers with rare defaults. No longer will FICO 08 consider ‘authorized users’ in their credit score calculations. This is to prevent ‘piggybacking’ where a consumer with low credit score use to associate with another consumer in order to increase their credit score. The revisions to the original FICO score have been much awaited especially in the light of increased delinquencies and declining recovery values. TransUnion is expected to begin using FICO 08 in the second quarter of 2008, while Experian is all set after the first quarter. You can find Part 1 of this post here. The first step that you need to take after you have become the victim of identity theft is to contact law enforcement authorities.  The fact is that many banks, financial institutions, credit card companies and so forth will require a police report in order to completely assist you in dealing with the fallout from identity theft. The second step that you will need to take in the aftermath of identity theft is to contact each of the three major credit reporting agencies directly.  You will want to notify them of the situation so that two things can occur immediately: 1.    The agencies can place a fraud alert on your credit reports. 2.    The agencies can provide you a copy of your credit reports, including your credit score with each of the agencies. Armed with this information, you will be able to focus in on any unauthorized activity that may have occurred as a result of the identity theft.  This includes being able to identify any unauthorized accounts that may have been opened up in your name as a result of the identity theft. You will then need to prepare an appropriate affidavit that will be provided to you by the credit reporting agencies.  Once you submit this information, the agencies should take fairly immediate steps to correct your credit report and your credit score. As mentioned previously, identity theft is a very common crime today.  Therefore, the three major credit reporting agencies really are inundated with requests to correct credit reports and credit scores.  Therefore, when it comes to correcting your own credit report and credit score after identity theft you need to make sure that you stay on top of the situation.  In other words, if you do not see a change in your credit report and your credit score within about thirty days at the outside you need to make contact with the credit reporting agency yet again. after identity theft , credit reports , credit score , identity protection , identity theft , lifelock , lifelock reviews Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. admin is Email this author | All posts by admin 2 Responses »

By admin • Mar 13th, 2009 • Category: Credit Card Theft and Fraud , Identity Theft , Identity Theft Protection , LifeLock Are you concerned about identity theft?  Do you worry about your credit report and your credit score?  If you have answered yes to these questions, you may be considering whether or not you should consider engaging the assistance of an identity theft protection service.  Through this article you are provided with some general information about identity theft protection services and how this type of assistance might work to protect you and your credit report and credit score. In regard to your credit score, your credit report and the prospect of engaging an identity theft protection service, you need to understand what this type of service can do for you.  This type of service actually provides to you assistance in two general areas.  First of all, this type of service actually does monitor your credit reports from the three major credit reporting agencies.  If there is any activity at all involving your credit reports – including inquiries – you are notified immediately by the identity theft protection service.  Through this notification, you will know immediately if something unauthorized is taking place – which is a sure sign that you have become the victim of identity theft. Another type of assistance that these services provides involves cleaning up the “mess” that can be left behind if you do become the victim of identity theft.  This includes getting your credit score back on track.  In this regard, rather than you having to “run around” to take care of business in the aftermath of being the victim of identity theft, the identity theft protection service does this important work for you. You do need to keep in mind that there is nothing that an identity theft protection service can do that you can’t do on your own.  For example, when it comes to notifications about your credit report and your credit score, you actually can arrange for such notification on your own by contacting the three major credit reporting agencies.  The three major credit reporting agencies can place a fraud alert on your account.  With such an alert, you get notified by the agencies if there is any activity, including an inquiry to them from a lender or some other entity. Further, you can take all of the necessary steps on your own to “clean up the mess” that exists if you do become the victim of identity theft.  But, you do need to keep in mind that this can be very time consuming. In the end, when it comes to protecting your credit report and your credit score from the after effects of  identity theft, you really may find that your circumstances suggest the need to engage an identity theft protection service. credit reports , credit score , identity protection , identity theft , lifelock , lifelock reviews , preventing identity theft Share and Enjoy: These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. admin is Email this author | All posts by admin 2 Responses »

← A Letter to AdCenter Online Branding Grows Wild → Dealing With Adwords Quality Score 05/03, 2007 There is so much hype on how to deal with Google’s Quality score Algorithm , and I’m learning that a lot of it isn’t true. For example, I’ve been told in numerous places that making affiliate links on a landing page go through a PHP redirect (using the Header function) will help improve QS, and according to Jon this isn’t true. In a conversation I had yesterday with the affiliate marketing guru master he reiterated the basic of quality score to me, plus a little more I didn’t know. Google says… “…your keyword’s Quality Score considers the clickthrough rate (CTR) and relevance of the keyword, your ad text, and your landing page” So essentially it consists of 3 things Click through Rate of your Ad Relevance of Keywords and Ad Text Your landing Page Nothing new here at all, but I was told a couple more things. In relation to your landing page Google first looks at the content to see if it’s relevant, then looks at it’s trust rank/ page rank, then tries to decide if it’s commercial or non-commercial, and finally assigns the landing page value. The biggest thing I didn’t know about was the Commercial/Non-Commercial part of the equation. Since Google is focused on a good user experience they probably see a non-commercial site being more focused on providing information vs. just coaxing someone into buying a product. They will [edit: in my opinion] obviously also assign a lower minimum bid to a non-commercial site because of probability of less funding. So next, How do you design a landing page to look more informational? I would definitely say get rid of all words “Buy, Sign Up, Sale” or action words related to buying in the text. Also I would plant more information based words in <h2> tags such as “Info, Learn, How To, Information”. I’ll start doing some split testing of two landing pages soon, one aimed at commercial one non-commercial, and see if the minimum bid is adjusted. Also thanks to Ken Savage for his consulting on the matter. (p.s. If you don’t know how to check the quality score of your landing page, go to your Ad Group, click the “keywords” tab, and the click the “Customize columns” and add the Quality score tab) Posted In: Landing Pages , SEM | | Trackback URI | 6 Responses to “

If yes, this article was made for you. Let’s discuss practical pointers on how you can use your personal credit score to get easy approval and enjoy better rates and terms: Work for a better credit-to-debt ratio. How much of your credit limit has been used? Financial experts recommend not using up more than 50% of your limit. But what if you have a high credit-to-debt ratio? You can call your bank or credit card issuer and request for a higher credit line. Of course, the easiest way to free up your credit limit is to pay off your existing charges. Clean up your credit report. Check your credit report for possible errors or unauthorized charges. You don’t have to pay charges if they’re really not yours. You can dispute incorrect charges in your account by sending a letter to the creditor involved and the credit bureau that issued your report. This way, an investigation can take place immediately to have the errors corrected. Obtain a copy credit report from all 3 major bureaus. Be sure to order a copy of your credit report from each of three major credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion, Experian). Take note that each credit bureau works on its own so the report you get from one bureau may be different from the other two. Pay off your existing bills. Raise your credit score the fast way by paying off all unpaid charges. What if this isn’t possible? Speak with your creditors and arrange for new repayment terms. BE open about your financial situation and explain why you’re asking for repayment modifications. Most lenders are willing to cooperate especially if a customer is experiencing financial crisis due to circumstances such as divorce, loss of job, death or illness. Pay off your high rate debts first. Pay your debt with the highest rate of interest first and work your way down. This is the best strategy to deal with multiple debts if you can’t pay off all debts at once. Avoid new debts. Stay away from incurring new debts while you’re still under repayment. Focus on paying off your existing debts and use your monthly income to pay your creditors. Share and Enjoy: Check Out More Credit Builders Here 1 Comment(s)
