Figure 1. Blackhat seo links for Farrah Fawcett searches sets in Hosted on is-the-boss domains (last seen in the H1N1 blackhat seo attack), the links that come up in search results redirect to other URLs that eventually land on all-too-familiar territory: a rogue antivirus download. In one specific infection chain traced by Research Manager Ivan Macalintal, the initial link redirects to another URL in the same domain, and then redirects another URL that has referrer checks before unfolding its contents. This is an evasion technique used by cybercriminals to avoid analysis by security researchers or being crawled (and rated) by search engines. Once the requester is cleared, the URL redirects to two more URLs before finally landing on a download page (within a certain thesecuritytools domain–now blocked by Trend Micro). The page downloads install.exe, which is a rogue antivirus detected as TROJ_FAKEAV.BBM. As this report is being written our engineers are analyzing the behavior of this malware. Trend Micro Smart Protection Network already blocks malicious URLs related to this attack. Not long after news of Farrah Fawcett’s passing hit mainstream news, singer/entertainer Michael Jackson likewise meets an untimely death. Users are advised to exercise extreme caution in searching for related news and information surrounding the deaths of these celebrities. One of the more famous blackhat seo manipulation attack we have documented thus far include the attack that happened shortly after Heath Ledger’s death. Update (2:30 am (UTC-7)): TROJ_FAKEAV.BBM behaves fairly similarly to other rogue antivirus we’ve seen to date. Here’s a screenshot of its “scanning window”: Figure 2. Swoopo – Schnäppchen oder nicht? Ich hatte im Internet wie viele andere auch nach einem günstigen Notebook bzw. Netbook gesucht und bin da auf Swoopo gestossen. Die Angebote sind schon sehr interessant und auch anscheinend günstig zu haben. Also habe ich mir die Internetseiten angeschaut und mich daraufhin gleich angemeldet. Um überhaupt mitbieten zu können, musste man sich einen Betrag von mindestens 10 Euro gleich 20 Bids kaufen. Also ein Bid kostet gleich 0,50 Euro. Als Willkommensgruss hat man 15 Euro als Gutschein erhalten. Ich konnte aber leider nicht erkennen und auch nicht nachlesen wie man diese einlösen konnte. Also habe ich erst einmal mit 20 Bids angefangen. Ich habe mir dann einige Produkte angesehen, die mich interessierten und habe dann auch gleich geboten. Ausserdem habe ich dann auch noch die Gebote über den BietButler abgegeben, da es ein wahnsinniger Aufwand ist die ganze Zeit am PC ‘rumzuhängen und zu beobachten, ob man das Produkt erhält oder nicht. Das Problem ist nämlich, dass bei jedem Gebot wieder 15 oder 20 Sekunden hinzugezählt werden; d. h., das dass Angebot nicht zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt wie bei ebay beendet ist, sondern, dass bei jedem neuen Gebot 15 oder 20 Sekunden hinzugezählt werden. So verliert man ganz schnell sein eingesetztes Geld. Ich habe letztendlich dann nach 2 Tagen das Konto bei Swoopo wieder gekündigt, da ich der Meinung bin, dass dieses Geschäftsmodell eine ganz heftige Abzocke ist und rate von Swoopo und ähnlichen Geschäftsmodellen dringend ab. Da mich im nachhinein noch interessierte, ob es noch weitere Meinungen zu solchen Geschäftmodellen (Hammerdeal ist z. B. auch so eine Abzocke) in Foren, Blogs, etc. gibt, habe ich das Internet durchstöbert. Insgesamt sind viele Personen derselben Meinung wie ich und versuchen anscheinend auch gegen solche Firmen vorzugehen. Am besten arbeitest du mit dem Mozilla Firefox, da dieser Webbrowser hervorragende PlugIns für Suchmaschinenoptimierer hat. Diese Liste beinhaltet die wichtigsten PlugIns und Tools, damit du prüfen kannst, ob du deine Website auf den richtigen Weg suchmaschinenoptimiert erstellst. Da die OpenSource Gemeinde ziemlich fleißig und schnell mit dem Programmieren neuer PlugIns und Tools ist, kann es natürlich sein, dass es bald wieder bessere Erweiterungen gibt. So ist das aber nun mal und wenn dir hier ein sehr wichtiges PlugIn oder Tool fehlt, dann melde dich doch. CustomizeGoogle Ermöglicht zahlreiche individuelle Einstellungen für Google-Seiten. Z.B. können Links zu Treffern anderer Suchmaschinen (Yahoo, MSN etc.) in den Google-Suchergebnissen angezeigt sowie Werbung und Spam auf Google entfernt werden. Flash Killer Mit dem Flash Killer kannst du bei Aktivierung erkennen, welche Elemente Flash enthalten und wie deine Seite dann dargestellt wird. GooglePreview Fügt Vorschaubilder von Websites in die Google- und Yahoo-Suchergebnisse ein. Google Webmasters Mit dem Google Webmasters "Tool" kannst du deine Sitemap eintragen, du siehst, welche Seiten der Googlebot gefunden hat, du kannst erkennen, welche Suchbegriffe von den Internetnutzern eingegeben werden, du siehst, welche Seiten nicht gefunden werden (Fehlermeldung 404 ausgeben), … IE Tab Mit dem Plugin IE Tab kannst du im Firefox auch sehen, wie deine Website im Internet Explorer aussieht. Keyword-Tool (Google AdWords) Um zu sehen, welche Keywords die Internetnutzer eingeben, ist das Keyword-Tool von Google AdWords sehr hilfreich. Keyword-Tool von rankingCHECK Die Datenbank enthält ca. 90 Millionen echte Suchbegriffe von wichtigen deutschen Suchmaschinen. Die Datenbank wir 3mal die Woche aktualisiert. 31 Top Off-site seo Techniques Revealed

Dean from Digital Point forums offers the 31 off-site techniques he used to achieve search engine optimisation (SEO) and get all his sites ranked #1 on Google.
Dean says all these techniques do work, although it is very important you have a strategy to implement them.
Contact site owners; give them relevant articles in exchange for links. When contacting the site owners, do not ask, “Hey do you want an article for your site but I’ve my link in it?” He will just say no. Say it like, “Hey, I have some really good articles that might interest you and your readers. I’ve also included my URL but feel free to remove it if you don’t like the article.” 90% of time the link is left in the article if it’s good.
Add articles to article directories with relevant links back to site. Track these articles and offer more articles free in exchange for links when other websites pick them up. You should also cross-link all your articles to pass link juice. Make sure it doesn’t look as spammy and gives more credibility.
Contact site owners for link exchange – try think outside the box here. For instance, type in your main keyword in Google, go to the third or forth page, sites on these pages usually have a good PR and are willing to exchange links compared to page 1 sites. Check if the link page is recently cached and has less than 50 links. Check and try going for “dofollow” sites.
Contact site owners and ask them if they are willing to cover a keyword on their existing article to point back to your site in exchange for articles with your links.
Copy all of your competitors’ backlinks (try using seo Elite for this, it shows a lot of different IP addresses).
Use Isnare article distribution. Be carefully using this — make sure you have quality backlinks first and only use once a week, or twice at the most.

Directory submissions — especially paid ones that pass PageRank (PR) juice
Social bookmaking from different IPs
Create self-building sites using PR Pumper on different IP addresses. Build 20 mini niche sites. Each site should focus on one or two keywords of your money site. Build links to these sites and also PR. Then, pass the PR to your money site and link out to your competitors once or twice so that it looks more natural.
Post internal URLs to deep-linking directories
Submit to all the top article directories
Try link baiting (quizzes, buzz, lists, humor, etc)
Write something very controversial and post it on your site — this method made Dean approx. €11,000 within a month for one article!

Write and send out press releases the right way
Post Yahoo! answers or questions
Subscribe to Google groups. Ask questions and leave answers that include your link

Not doing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) may cause your blog to tank faster than the Titanic. So what’s the point of keeping a blog when you wanna let it tank? Oklah, to make it clear I’m of course not referring to those typical emo-oriented bloggers who just wanna keep a blog to express their feelings, views, bla bla bla with no intention to make it popular.
A few months back, I totally got a shock to discover so many domains are cropping up in the Malaysian blogosphere — with a majority of the sites being a blog. When I checked some of the sites, first off, yes a few of them managed to come out with appealing titles; the rest generally had horrible titles. They also don’t follow the rules of SEO.
Doing seo means giving consideration to your onsite optimisation factors. Like mentioned before, the factors increase your chances of achieving high search engine results pages (SERPs).
Here is how you could prepare your new blog for easy indexing on Google by following the seo rules:
Design your content in simply html if possible. Avoid complex codes such as those of Java script or flash. This is to enable Google spider to read your blog more easily and get it indexed as fast as possible.
Like I have stressed many times before, do meta tag optimisation!
H1, H2, H3 and “bold” tags are great to call attention to your content and promote the keywords in those tags. The keywords will determine which terms your blog will rank for. Try to use any of these tags at least once in your content to increase keyword density.
In addition to these onsite factors, you also need to focus on other initiatives, which includes link building and better accessibility for Google spider:
Including a sitemap on your blog, which might not be of any use to human, makes it easy for search engines to access all of your blog posts and index your blog accordingly. Are meta tags still relevant in SEO?
Are they still relevant, or not?
A few days ago I wrote about getting a site ranked high on Google search. Some enthusiastic webmasters left a comment asking me whether or not meta tags are still relevant.
For the past few weeks, I have been wondering the same thing too. I even searched for the issue and stumbled upon an article claiming meta tags do not work on Google anymore — something that made my heart sink.
Ok, I think I need to set this straight for you. Right now I do not care what other websites will have to say already, after having witnessed the outcome of my effort with my own eyes!
I have discovered meta tags really do work for me!
Out of curiosity, I tried Googling — with certain keywords I have optimised in the meta tags — to see how some of my pages fair on the search engine.
“Money making tips”, Top 2
“High Adsense earnings”, Top 2
“Download seo Elite”, Top 8 (Highly competitive)
“Gain backlink instantly”; #1 baby!
Kindly note that those pages consist of well-optimised meta tags. There are a few more pages currently doing well on search engine results pages (SERPs) but I cannot feature all of them.
So yeah… meta tags are STILL very relevant! Who says they are not?

5 Golden Steps to seo Perfection

Search engine optimisation (SEO) refers to various strategies you can implement on a website to improve its rankings in search engines such as Google, so you can increase the organic traffic the site receives. Organic traffic is typically the most targeted and highest quality traffic a website can receive.
The higher your website is in the search engine rankings the more money it will make. There are a lot of seo techniques you can use to increase your rankings, and I have outlined to most important ones below.
1) Having your keyword in your domain
It’s easier to rank highly on Google and other search engines if you have your keyword(s) in your domain name. Some people argue that this isn’t true but I have seen from personal experience that it does help.
And if you think about it you can see why it would help — if your site is about “blog flipping” it’s logical to assume the search engines would rather your domain be blogflipu.com rather than joeblowname.com or something else totally unrelated.
2) Using your main keywords in your title tag
This is one of the most basic and most important seo techniques, but so many people still don’t it. All it takes is a few seconds of your time to update your title tag and it will help a lot with your seo efforts. If your blog is about “how to make money online” then you need to tell the search engines that by putting that phrase in your title tag.
3) Keywords in your post/page titles
Don’t title your posts or pages something like, “A Cool Article You Should Read” because that will do nothing for you in terms of seo or readers. You need to be descriptive of what the content is about while at the same time putting keywords in there to help with your search engine rankings. Notice the title of this post, “5 Steps to seo Perfection” gives a description of what the post is about and has the keyword “SEO” in it.
4) Your main keywords and related terms in your content
You should be spreading the keywords you want to rank for throughout your content. Also, be sure to put related keywords in your content too. If you have a site about “home business” then you could have several different keywords in your content such as; home based business, home business opportunities, home business ideas, online business, work at home, and many others. However, make sure you aren’t stuffing your content full of keywords. You need it to read naturally and not be loaded with keywords all over the place.
5) Getting keyword anchored backlinks
This is the most important part of SEO, by far! Without backlinks you will never make it to the top of the search engines for any keyword phrase that is even a little competitive. You can build links by submitting articles to article directories, commenting on dofollow blogs, doing link exchanges, submitting your site to link directories, social bookmarking sites, writing guest posts for other blogs, buying links, and several other ways. Whenever possible you should get keyword anchored links, but any link will help.
That’s it! All you have to do are the five things listed above and your website/blog will be SEO’d very well. You will see an increase in your search engine rankings almost immediately after implementing the above seo techniques. Of course, the above is not an all-inclusive list of seo strategies. There are plenty of other things you can do but these are most important.

BORNTOBEASEO: Bei der Hitze müssen sich seo irgendwie immer wieder selber motivieren und so war es eh nur noch eine Frage der Zeit bis zum nächsten seo Contest - borntobeaseo!
Beim neuen seo Contest borntobeaseo geht es darum sich bis zum 24. Juli eben genau mit diesem Keyword in Google auf Platz 1 zu platzieren.

Sich mit borntobeaseo auf Platz 1 zu schieben dürfte dann allerdings doch nicht mehr so einfach werden denn die ersten setzen sich schon oben fest und Google zeigt jetzt schon 20000 Treffer an.
Da wiederum fragt man sich dann auch sofort, warum ein guter seo das bei einem so nutzlosem Keyword und so bescheidenen Preisen tun sollte, aber nun gut, es scheint sie doch zu geben.
Der borntobeaseo Contest ist aber u.U. trotzdem sehr interessant, denn man sieht recht fix, was Andere so für Ideen haben und es lässt sich auch recht leicht auswerten, wie andere auf ein Keyword wie in diesem Fall borntobeaseo optimieren.
Man kann sich also massig Anregungen holen und ist dann selber auch ohne Sieg borntobeaseo!

Looking for tools to help you understand your sites seo compatibility is only a click away. I have gathered a few tools that will help you out with getting to know your blogs seo with a few of my favorite tools and a few that I have found along the way that have been pretty useful and hope you do also. If you like keeping up with your Page Rankings, SERP, Keywords, Backlinks and all that good stuff then these tools will make the job a lot simple. A few of these I have tested and use on a regular basis, but a few offer a lot of the same tool concept. It is all what you prefer to do, that will determine the right one for you. Many of these are online tools that can be used straight from your browser, and one or two are install program applications that can be used from your desktop, with the expeption of the Firefox toolbar. Chances are you have heard of a few of these, but I figured i would do a quick list of the ones that I have found helpful. seo for Firefox What seo Toolbox would not be complete with out the seo Firefox extension from SEOBOOK.com. This is a great tool that is always at your finger tips when browsing with Firefox. This extension is packed with quick access to Google Pagerank, Domain Age, Cache Date, Yahoo Backlinks, Number of .edg, .gov links, Alexa, domz, Technorati links, del.icio.us bookmarks, whois information and a few more. SEOmoz Tools SEOmoz has a good list of seo tools that are available for free some requires you to sign up for a free account. With a free account you get access to more of the tools but it is limited to how often you can use them, like once a day. There is an array of tools to play around with. I was really interested in there crawl test your sites accessibility to search engines and if your site has any errors that might keep it from being crawled correctly. Some of these tools include: Term Target, GeoTargeting Detection, seo Toolbox, Backlink Anchor Text Analysis, Popular Searches, Juicy Link Finder, Rank Checker, Term Extractor, Page Strength, Crawl Test, Keyword Difficulty, IP Location Lookup. iWebtool.com Tools This is one of your one stop for tons of Free seo tools that are at your disposal. It is probably the main site I use when checking on my stats and backlinks numbers.Some of the features it tells you are: Domain Age, Pagerank Check, Inbound Links, Traffic Rank, Domain Name IP Report, Link Value at Test-Link-Ads, and Site Value. Serp Rank Serp Ranks is a online serp checker to check your sites keywords against the main search engines including Google, Yahoo, MSN, ASK, Altavista and Alexa. You can search the results from the first 5 pages to the first 50 pages of these search engins to see where your site falls with the typed keyword. There is also a Link Population Checker and Page Rank Checker on the site. SERPs Finder The SERPs Finder is a free application from 4neurons that helps you find the ranking of your pages though Google, Live Search and Yahoo. You can just type in your URL and keyword that you want to see the ranking for with your site and the SERPs Finder will search the position up to the first 1000 results. When you submit a keyword search a new window pops up with the results that shows the ranking of the SERP. Profitimo seo Report Profitimo offers a free seo report for your site. This report includes keyword summary that makes sure you have the right keywords in the right place on your site. The Free service only allows you one keyword report. The report takes a few days to process then you are emailed the results. It’s something to check out. Urltrends The tools at URLtrends allow you to check a site or pages ranking trends, link popularity, and social bookmarking trends, and popular keywords. The report shows eight different trends including: Google, Alexa, Yahoo!, MSN, AllTheWeb, Alta Vista, Teoma, IceRocket, Furl and Del.icio.us. Along with PageRank and Alexa Rank. Sitening seo Tools Sitening offers another useful source of seo tools that include the seo Analyzer, SERP Tracker, Backlink Analyzer, PageRank Checker. It requires a you to sign up but the Analyzer tools are a great resource to check in to. Also another interesting feature they have is there Ravin seo Tools that is a Pro upgrade to the standard tools that offers seo reports, Campaign manager, seo Analyzers, and SERP Tracker. Google Analytics The Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google to analyze your site and give you a detailed report about your Traffic and Conversion Information, Bounce Rate, Keyword and Campaign Comparison, Geotargeting and more. There is a nice set of charts and tables generated to give you a good visual of all the information they collect on your site. That’s all for now. There are a few tools to get your started on your seo journey. I will probably keep updating this post as I find more useful seo tools that will come in handy.
