« Me on the Market Leverage A-List Party Yacht?! | Main | The Bluelight Special Is Back! » family Fortune By Drew | July 23, 2009 Photo-a-Day #1567 Tonight we had take out from Fortune House with Mimi and Grandpa Dano. We just love going there and recommending it to all of our friends. No one person has had a bad meal. Literally everyone has raved about the food. It is always a great deal. Allison, Eva, Mimi and Grandpa Dano went to Roger Williams Park Zoo this afternoon. I didn’t get to do so because I was working, I hate to miss the zoo. Next time I’ll be there. I’m working on some additional contest prizes for the Ultimate IZEAFest Prize Pack Contest. I even got a CPC opp set up on SocialSpark to help promote the event. Every little bit helps. Are you eating? You may want to put that food down, just for a moment. This is a great follow up to the past three posts, particularly at about 1:39. Enjoy the video, have a great weekend and Happy Mother’s Day! I honest to goodness asked for a family portrait for Mother’s Day. Now I cringe at the thought. You’ll see why…. P.S. The more she says “hair” the more I want to punch her. Just sayin’. Thanks Kathryn! {source} If you enjoyed this post, please take a moment to share it!

Just getting three kids all looking the same direction with a somewhat acceptable expression on their face is a complete impossibility! I can so distinctly remember myself as a 7 year old boy being the one with his tongue sticking out in most of our family photos too! I guess this is just payback. Here is a fun little animation of the chaos taking place between the bazillion snaps it took to get it done! It’s 1.3mb so give it time to load and it will play though the frames nice and fast. Easy AdSenser by UnrealHi.. again It has has been a very busy week for me … since the library where I am currently working is shortage of staff . But don’t worry , I will always devote my time to update this nidosz-family-fun-reading-library blog instead of a part of my job , I really want to share with all readers out there tips that must be take into consideration before setting up their own family library. In this article , I will take book as an example of library material for your future library .  The easy way to access back any books is when those books are in systematic order. When these books are arranged systematically , it will be easy for you to arrange it using the system that I will explain shortly. For the purpose of your family library, the most easiest system that can be used and recommended is called Dewey Decimal Classification System . Because I am Malaysian ( I am proud to be Malaysian Malaysia Boleh ! … so inside this article and any part of this blog , I will sometimes refer to some government Bodies that is related to library and information. So , there is a government body known as Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka which had published a simple to follow list of Dewey Decimal Classification System titled ” Senarai Ringkas Sistem Pengkelasan Perpuluhan Dewey ( 1986 ).  Just click here to see the list for your reference. Before you arrange your reading materials into your future family library racks following proper subject classifications, the book must be catalogued first ( by the way , cataloging is a part of my job as librarian )    . This means that  the book details in its title page must be registered. Those details normally are like 1- Author(s) name 2- Publisher’s name 3- Date of publication From these details , you will give the books classification number. When all these are done , only then you can start arranging those books to its racks following the right classification number. All the details you can record inside special book or catalog card. Example :   Now , that you can see few classes ( 101-320 ) of books arranged according to the system. Let say, if the are more than 1 book titles under the class of 102 , so those books under class 102 can be arranged into more detail according to sequential call numbers in a sequential alphabetical order. Example :   Ok .. I hope with this simple article …you all will have some ideas how to start your family library. Remember ” Journey of a thousand mile start from the first step “        Want to bookmark this article ?: Filed under: How to arrange your family reading material Like this post? Daisey’s Back Home with Leonard the Sheltie and Family BluvsJ posted this on March 28th, 2009 Daisey’s surgery was very successful although we’re still waiting to hear on the results of her biopsy. She handled the anesthesia very well, the tumor was well defined and encapsulated, and her dental went very well also. Best of all I got to see her reunited with her family — at least three of them, Mom, Dad, and Austin (I think) who met me at Cottonwood Animal Hospital. Daisey is definitely a Daddy’s girl as you’ll see in the photos. Daisey is still waking up from her anesthesia to some extent…pretty groggy and not very interested in anything but being held and comforted. Daisey has an incredibly sweet personality and we wish her and her family all the best! This is Mom, Diane, husband, Jay, and son, Austin. Jay says that Daisey’s favorite place is to sit between his knees when he’s squatting down on the floor as he is in this photo. A few minutes after this photo was taken Daisey scooched herself backwards and between Dad’s knees.     Going home to the rest of the family and Sheltie-buddy, Leonard…yeah!!! She was an exchange student at Mesabi East last year, and did very well. Unfortunately, the visa she was on last year expired and cannot be renewed. The Jesus family Tomb, aka the Lost Tomb of Jesus
Posted by Darren under Apologetics , Bible , Christians , Faith , God , Jesus , Lost Tomb of Jesus , Movies , Skeptics
I can see that this ridiculousness is probably going to be fairly big. Already the old Da Vinci Code Blog was spammed by someone advertising the official website. (Posting twice from the same IP within minutes under different names.) So I made up a page explaining some of the many problems with the James Cameron documentary “The Lost Tomb of Jesus”, aka “Jesus family Tomb”. It contains links to several other pertinent resources on this topic. Click below to read it: » The Lost Tomb of Jesus: Is it really the Jesus family Tomb? Feel free to pass the link around, copy it to your own site, hang it on your fridge, whatever. I’ll work on it some more later when I have more time; this is a “preliminary” version. We already went through this once with the lamentable Da Vinci Code, and now it’s started all over again … Related reading: In addition to my page linked above, a “Top Ten” list has been posted to Christian Newswire: Ten Reasons Why The Jesus Tomb Claim is Bogus: Leading Scholars Say Discovery Channel ‘Documentary’ Makes for Good TV, Bad History and Bad Science Share This

Please Pray for My Extended Family. July 25, 2007 by Mommy Zabs   Filed under Christianity, family Leave a comment Bad news today to add to other bombs that have been going off. My uncle had a heart attack at his lake house while out on the lake. My 13 year old cousin had to get him out of the water. They were unable to revive him. Gayle is (I just can’t say was yet) an incredible father, husband, and uncle. Him and his wife, my aunt Susie, have 6 children both adopted and blended and biological, between the ages of 13 and 25. This will be a tough season. My heart breaks both for our loss, and knowing how difficult this will be for Susie and his children. When things like this happen, so unexpected, it is just so hard. But I know the Lord is with us and we will all be leaning heavily upon Him. My uncle and 2 of his children in 1997 Gayle helping Owen drive the boat at the lake last summer. I bought this because it was cheap, I could microwave it, and there was no need for milk, just add one can of water and voila! Fantastic tomato soup. Or… perhaps not so much. Results were mixed. There was no pop-top, so I had to dig out the can opener. A small thing, I know, but I love those pop-top cans for convenience. I dumped the can of soup into a microwavable Tupperware container and was pleasantly surprised to see that instead of the gelatinous mold that often comes slurping out of a can, the soup was creamy and in no way solid. It was pretty orange looking but it smelled good. So I added my can of water, gave it a quick stir and let ‘er rip. The folks at Heinz, courtesy of the can, told me to microwave for 4 to 5 minutes. No idea whether I was supposed to cover the dish or not, so I hastily perched a lid on top, letting some air escape, and hoped for the best. Four minutes later, the soup was piping hot when I removed it from the microwave. The meal is fairly low in calories and fat, but wow, the sodium coursing through your body is not at a health level. Like, as in almost 70 PER CENT of your daily intake. In one can. That is concerning. The texture was thinner than I would have liked, a bit on the watery side, but thickened up after I let it sit for a minute. The taste however, was pretty darn good. I’ve tried my fair share of condensed tomato soups and I would say this one ranks higher than most, for flavor’s sake. It was sweet, but not too sweet, it had a nice tomato flavor and made enough for reasonably-sized two bowls. Two bowls I ate myself, I might add. It would be greatly improved with a few herbs or croutons, but even on its own, it was a solid sidekick to a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. Unless you carry a can opener around with you, it would be a hard one to take to the office, but for a lazy Sunday afternoon perched in front of the fire, it’s not bad. Not bad at all. And above all, it was really cheap. Two cans of soup for a (Canadian) buck. It’s pretty hard to beat that. Ingredients: Water, tomatoes or tomato puree, wheat flour, sugar, salt, soybean oil, spices, onion powder, citric acid or sodium bicarbonate.

I’m looking into getting a tattoo and I don’t want one that I will regret the next day, so I thought family means so much to me and I want a tattoo to represent my family but I’m just not sure as to what I should get to symbolize it. Any ideas?
