A few days ago, Google unveiled its latest product, Google Chrome, and since then, everyone is talking about it everywhere. I downloaded it as well, and put it through some test runs. So far, I’m not blown away by it, but then again, it is a capable browser that should get better and better in the near future, assuming Google is listening to all the feedback. If you’re a Web developer you might be a little more than picky about its features, or lack of them. But if you’re an ordinary user, I suppose Chrome is adequate for use even right now though it is in beta (isn’t it with many other Google products?). There are a bunch of sites that have sprung up overnight, dedicated to Chrome alone, in addition to all the major tech sites, so users who want to follow Chrome closely have no shortage of resources. Some quick observations: Chrome Styles – The default blue look of Chrome is really sparse for my taste and I don’t exactly like it. But you can change the look and the color quite easily by installing a new theme. A new site where you can find Chrome themes is Chrome Styles. Page load speed – Google Chrome is touted as the fastest browser around, and that is probably its main selling point. I didn’t find it as fast as I thought it would be though. If you based it on this test at Cnet, you’d imagine Chrome to be really much faster. Lifehacker carried out a rather more realistic series of tests. The verdict is all quite favorable – Chrome is definitely fast, and for a first release, it is competitive enough to run with the best. Bookmark management and toolbars – Bookmark management is a major gripe from all those Firefox users mostly because it is really sparse in Chrome. I have a ton of bookmarks right now which would be not easy to organize in Chrome. I’m also in favor of toolbars, but there is no toolbar feature in Chrome. Spell Check – A spell check mechanism that suggests correct spelling would be useful indeed. It’s not implemented in Chrome yet. There has been talk about a “serious” security issue with Chrome, but I’m sure that will be fixed soon. Unless you’re a surfer with seriously loose surfing habits, it’s not something to be really worried about. On claims that Google owns rights to the content that you post through Chrome, and that it is written in the EULA (End User License Agreement) I find NO evidence of this at all. I’ve read that EULA again and again and instead this is what is written in paragraph 11.1. 11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.” So, relax. Other than Google owning all their proprietary rights in Chrome (an open source project as it is) just like Mozilla owns all theirs in Firefox, it is not something to get hung up over. Siteye üye olup reklam izliyorsunuz ve topladığınız puanlar karşılığında kontör, telefon, mp3 çalar, video kamera, plazma tv, masaüstü veya dizüstü bilgisayar gibi yüzlerce hediyeden istediğinizi seçiyorsunuz. Reklamizlekazan’a bir haber sitesinde rastladım. Sisteme üye olup reklam videolarını izlemeye başlıyorsunuz. İzlediğiniz her saniye için 1 puan kazanıyorsunuz. Yani 30 sn’lik reklam size 30 puan, 2 dakikalık reklam 120 puan kazandırır. 24 saat geçmeden aynı reklamı tekrar izleyemezsiniz. Bunun haricinde ne kadar reklam varsa hepsini bir günde izleyebilirsiniz. Ben saydım şu an 1474 reklam var.Size verilen bannerlardan istediğinizi blogunuza veya sitenize yerleştirip yaptığınız her üye için 1000 puan kazanabiliyorsunuz. Ya da arkadaşlarınıza e-posta ile davet gönderebiliyorsunuz. Bazı reklamlar bonus puan kazandırıyor. Sitenin S.S.S sayfasında şöyle yazılmış: Örnek: Bir ay boyunca her gün düzenli 120 dakika reklam izleyen üyemiz 75000 puan kazanır.Ayrıca aynı reklamlardan 300000 bonus puan daha kazanırsa toplamda 375000 puanı olur. üyenin kazandığı puanlar istediği hediyeye yetiyorsa sanal mağazadan siparişini verir, yetmiyorsa puan biriktirmeye devam eder. Reklamizlekazan benzeri başka siteler de var. Bunlardan biri Reklammatik diğeri de İzleyenkazanıyor. Fakat her ikisinde de günlük izleyebileceğiniz reklam sayısı sınırlı. Bütün videoları izledikten sonra yeni reklamlar seyredebilmek için birkaç gün beklemeniz gerekiyor. Hatta birinde günlük 50 video izlerseniz 24 kuruştan 12 lira yapar bu da ayda 360 lira kazandırır, yazılmış. Halbuki kimsenin günde 50 reklam izleyebildiği yok, resmen kandırmaca. Peki Reklamizlekazan onlardan çok mu farklı ? Şimdilik kesin birşey söyleyemem. Siteye girdiğinizde hediye kazananları gösteren bir band göreceksiniz. Çoğunluk, kazandığı puanlarla kontör almayı tercih etmiş. Ya herkesin kontöre ihtiyacı var ya da daha büyük hediyeler almak için gerekli puanları biriktirmeye sabırları yok. Üye olduğuma göre neden böyle yapıyorlar yakında anlarım.Şimdilik 267 puanım var. 98年預估錄取分數在這裡 本來網路上找了老半天就是找不到一份完整的錄取分數資料，好不容易找到了一份但卻是全部的分數擠在一起，為了讓大家查詢方便，高登再次花一些時間來先行製作一份97年基測各校的錄取分數表，而且參考97 98年兩次基測量尺總分擇優之PR值及累積人數對照表補上了98年與去年相同PR值的分數，這個就是98年各校錄取分數的預估值，相然不會很準但是誤差應該在一兩分以內，具有一定的參考價值。 I’ve heard a lot of bloggers fell victim to these so called “Copycats”. Lucky for me I haven’t catch anyone yet! Now, copycats are those who wants the attention and the success but too lazy to do it right. Instead of creating their own work, they find the enjoyment of stealing someone else writings or works for their own gain. If someone steals your article from your blog, that only means one thing… “Your works are great, and your writing skills are good.” But that’s not the point. It’s not good! That’s copyright violation and you have to do something about it very seriously to prevent it to happen. Here are some ways I’ve gathered to do the job for you and make it harder for those who only love two words “Copy and Paste”! 1. Get Creative Commons License Creative Commons helps you publish your work online while letting others know what they can and can’t do with your work. Acquiring a license is free and you will be given with a badge that you can put into your site or blog to warn everyone that your work is reserved. License your work now. 2. Add water mark to your images This is the most effective way to prevent you image or video works from being used by others. Though there are few geeky manipulators who can remove the water marks, most still don’t know how to remove it so it is still advisable to add water mark to your image works. For easy water marking, here is a free software that you can use to put water mark to your image:

Or, you can do it online for free. Visit Free Online Watermarker 3. Disable right-click to your blog Now, here is what I think that most neat one. It can protect both your images and your articles from being copied easily. Since our copycats love to do the right-click routine, why not we disable this function to discourage them first hand. I know, this can’t protect your works completely because they can still copy your article. The only difference is they will have to type the whole content manually. Here is a javascript you can use to disable right-click into your site:

Soeripto langsung bertanya, “Kapan masuk ke Indonesia? Dan berapa harganya? “All New City akan kita masukkan awal Desember ini, kemungkinan bisa lebih cepat lagi,” tegas Jonfis Fandy, Marketing & After Sales Director PT Honda Prospect Motor di sela-sela acara Honda Media Gathering di Jakarta, Senin (15/9). Ketika ditanya kehadiran Honda Freed di Indonesia, Jonfis tidak menjawab dan hanya tersenyum. Tapi, otomotif.kompas.com mendapat bocoran kalau kendaraan gabungan Jazz dan MPV Stepwagon itu bakal meramaikan pasar Indonesia semester II tahun depan. Dalam acara media Gathering, Jonfis menjelaskan bahwa hingga bulan kedelapan 2008, Honda sudah menjual total sebanyak 37.267 unit (meningkat 42% dari tahun lalu sebanyak 26.158 unit) dengan rata-rata per bulannya 4.658 unit. Ini tercatat sebagai suatu prestasi dan jumlah tersebut melampaui penjualan tertinggi pada 2005 dengan 4.479 unit per bulannya. Diakui oleh Jonfis bahwa peluncuran produk-produk baru Honda tahun ini, seperti Honda Accord dan Jazz memberi kontribusi besar terhadap sukses penjualan Honda. Kemudian CR-V masih menjadi market leader di kelasnya, termasuk juga Honda City dan Civic tetap teratas di kelasnya. Tapi kontribusi paling signifikan disumbangkan All New Honda Jazz. Sejak diperkenalkan Juni lalu, hanya dalam dua bulan, sedan hatchback itu telah terjual 15.671 unit. Bahkan selama Agustus menjadi penyumbang terbesar 41% (3.938 unit) dari total 6.600 unit. “Ini rekor selama sejarah Honda ada di Indonesia,” bangga Jonfis. Selain All New Jazz, Accord juga menorehkan prestasi hebat dalam keluarga Honda. Total penjualannya sampai Agustus 2008, sudah terjual 1.846 unit dan menyerobot 33% di kelas medium sedan. Soeripto langsung bertanya, “Kapan masuk ke Indonesia? Dan berapa harganya? “All New City akan kita masukkan awal Desember ini, kemungkinan bisa lebih cepat lagi,” tegas Jonfis Fandy, Marketing & After Sales Director PT Honda Prospect Motor di sela-sela acara Honda Media Gathering di Jakarta, Senin (15/9). Ketika ditanya kehadiran Honda Freed di Indonesia, Jonfis tidak menjawab dan hanya tersenyum. Tapi, otomotif.kompas.com mendapat bocoran kalau kendaraan gabungan Jazz dan MPV Stepwagon itu bakal meramaikan pasar Indonesia semester II tahun depan. Dalam acara media Gathering, Jonfis menjelaskan bahwa hingga bulan kedelapan 2008, Honda sudah menjual total sebanyak 37.267 unit (meningkat 42% dari tahun lalu sebanyak 26.158 unit) dengan rata-rata per bulannya 4.658 unit. Ini tercatat sebagai suatu prestasi dan jumlah tersebut melampaui penjualan tertinggi pada 2005 dengan 4.479 unit per bulannya. Diakui oleh Jonfis bahwa peluncuran produk-produk baru Honda tahun ini, seperti Honda Accord dan Jazz memberi kontribusi besar terhadap sukses penjualan Honda. Kemudian CR-V masih menjadi market leader di kelasnya, termasuk juga Honda City dan Civic tetap teratas di kelasnya. Tapi kontribusi paling signifikan disumbangkan All New Honda Jazz. Sejak diperkenalkan Juni lalu, hanya dalam dua bulan, sedan hatchback itu telah terjual 15.671 unit. Bahkan selama Agustus menjadi penyumbang terbesar 41% (3.938 unit) dari total 6.600 unit. “Ini rekor selama sejarah Honda ada di Indonesia,” bangga Jonfis. Selain All New Jazz, Accord juga menorehkan prestasi hebat dalam keluarga Honda. Total penjualannya sampai Agustus 2008, sudah terjual 1.846 unit dan menyerobot 33% di kelas medium sedan. Hal ini tidak saja dilakukan oleh blogger pemula ( newbie ) namun konon kerap juga dilakukan para blogger yang sudah senior. Kenapa aktifitas Copy Paste ( Copas ) sulit di monitor ? Karena dunia ini sangat luas, terdiri dari berbagai negara, berbagai hukum, sedangkan disisi lain dunia Teknologi Informasi lebih bersifat universal dan hampir dapat dikatakan tidak memiliki batasan ruang dan waktu. Apakah tidak ada teknologi yang mampu melakukan monitoring ? Mungkin teknologi ke arah ini sudah dikembangkan seperti salah satunya www.copyscape.com, namun apapun teknologi nya, tetaplah memiliki kelemahan dan keterbatasan. Meeting Adobe - Apple, giornata di formazione gratuita a Roma

Il 21 settembre prossimo in Roma si terrà una giornata di formazione completamente gratuita dei software Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3, Soundtrack Pro 2, Flash Media Server, Flash Lite e mobile learning, Director MX 2004 e DVD-Video, i nuovi software made in Adobe ed Apple.
L’ActionScript User Group Adobe UG e il Final Cut Pro User Group - Italia tengono a precisare che “l’evento non è una manifestazione commerciale, ma nasce dalla volontà di dimostrare quanto sia facile produrre e diffondere i contenuti digitali tramite i software Adobe ed Apple“. L’organizzazione è curata e supportata da l’Istituto Europeo di Design ed i relatori saranno M. Dandrea, F. Anastasi e G. Natili.

Google mit eigenem Betriebssystem? Chrome OS!

Wie ich gerade auf GoogleWatchBlog gelesen habe sind die Leute bei Google damit beschäftigt ein eigenes Betriebssystem zu basteln. Genauer gesagt soll es ein Chrome OS geben. Es soll 2010 für den Nutzer bereit stehen. Was ich sehr interessant finde ist, dass es ein OS wird, dass rein mit online Anwendungen nutzbar ist. Hier darf man auf die Entwicklung gespannt sein wie Softwarehersteller reagieren werden. Für diese ist das bestimmt auch nicht so uninteressant, denn diese Webanwendungen laufen dann System übergreifend und müssen nicht für Apple, Linux oder Windows Kisten extra programmiert werden. Wie ich finde ist das ein sehr spannendes Thema, zu sehen, wie sich das ganze entwickeln wird. Zwar wird wieder eine Menge gegenwind von überall kommen, da Google dies macht aber das ist man ja schon gewohnt.
